Is this a low-carb, keto, paleo, elimination diet or detox program?
Not at all! Balanced Bodies doesn't involve counting or labeling foods. We steer clear of "good" or "bad" food concepts. Instead, we focus on making smart swaps, replacing foods that may hinder your wellbeing with those that support your goals.
How is Balanced Bodies different from other "diet plans"?
Balanced Bodies isn't a short-term diet plan; it's a sustainable approach to nutrition and weight loss. No sacrifices, no calorie counting or boring chicken and rice. You'll nourish your body with real, wholesome food to boost your metabolism. Plus, you can still enjoy going out to eat and even have a drink. After the six weeks, you'll see food in a whole new light.
How much weight can I expect to lose?
In the first 30 days, the focus is on fixing your metabolism, so weight loss might not be immediate. However, we typically see a 2 - 5 kg weight loss by the end of the program. Remember, it's not just about weight loss. Non-scale victories like cms, progress pics or muscle gains can matter more than the scale.
If you have not had any changes in measurements in 6 weeks, we highly recommend delving further into functional pathology testing (discussed within the program).
How quickly should I watch the videos?
We recommend watching (and maybe re-watching) one every week. This is to allow you time to start to put the recommendations into practice.
Can I have a Naturopath consultation & do the program at the same time?
Yes! A naturopath consultation provides an individualised assessment, allowing for personalised recommendations tailored to your specific health needs and goals. This includes supplementation of herbal & nutritional medicine, recommended functional pathology testing (if needed) & other lifestyle advice.
